From the now well-known acronym BBQ, or barbecue, we took inspiration and invented this small cheese, to which we add smoked paprika since this spice is usually added to the barbecue sauce and because it is also a cheese designed to be eaten hot.
This cheese weighing approximately 80 grams with a soft texture and slightly flowery rind, is made with cow’s milk and the addition of cream, with a sweet and delicate taste, embellished with the spice that will characterize its taste, ideal for putting in the oven (microwave or conventional ) and eaten hot.
Try it with dried fruit, especially walnuts: it’s a pleasure.
It is packaged in a terracotta bowl, suitable for putting in the oven.

Shape: cylindrical with irregular straight heel and irregular flat faces;
External appearance: very thin rind, slightly flowery, orange in colour;
Internal appearance: soft texture, sparse, regular and fine holes, the color is ivory;
Smell: when cold in the center of the pastry you can find cream lactic and a herbaceous vegetable, while in the crust we find a characteristic note of smoke and cauliflower, when hot the sensation of melted and smoked butter prevails;
Taste: low flavor, medium sweetness, medium-low acidity, obviously if you taste it hot the characteristics change significantly, tending to increase the flavor.
- Food pairings:
If enjoyed hot, it can be accompanied by fresh or boiled vegetables, but also combined with walnuts and breadsticks or croutons.
- Wine pairings:
We recommend a sparkling wine or a structured white.
